We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Freight Invoice Auditor to join our team. The Freight Invoice Auditor will be responsible for auditing freight and transportation invoices to ensure accuracy, compliance with contractual terms, and identification of discrepancies or overcharges. This role involves working closely with the logistics, finance, and operations teams to ensure that freight costs are accurate, cost-effective, and properly accounted for.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
5 years of experience in freight invoice auditing, accounts payable, or logistics accounting.
Experience with freight audit systems or transportation management systems (TMS) is highly preferred
Familiarity with shipping terms, billing structures, and common accessorial charges in the logistics industry.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in complex data.
Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve invoicing issues.
Solid understanding of freight charges, including base rates, fuel surcharges, and accessorials.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and other financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for vendor and internal communication.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to resolve issues and improve processes.
